    It's the sort of idea that gets tech journalism articles written about it. But, turns out having physical access to do maintenance is important, a the electricity and cooling costs for data centers are not THAT big, and water just fundamentally isn't that scarce, so it's fine.

    oh probably. in like, ten years? or something? i am not extremely clear how this prices out, the microsoft trial went okay and then they decided not to continue it but it's not clear to me that this is a BAD idea, basically

    for the pressure vessel? sure. but uh the actual vessel that you are planning to sink once and never recover is not i do not think a major part of your expenses here
