  We have defeated the nonsense bins motion that would explode our refuse collection costs, and passed motions standing against Islamophobia, and committing the council to do more to tackle the homelessness crisis. The final motions 7 and 8 were not able to be voted on today.

  While Cllr Matthew Carlile is sadly unwell today... In his absence, Cllr Ren Tilbury spoke passionately against the bigotry – transphobia – which caused this motion to be delayed at previous meetings. We are pleased that Labour have finally voted to pass our motion.
