Big shout out to my lab @sdsuresearch.bsky.social and to our many collaborators on this project, it was truly multidisciplinary. Biggest finding: the exhausted T cell signature previously attributed to race, appears to associate faithfully with socioeconomic status across racial demographics #cancer

So so so excited to see this out in print! aacrjournals.org/cancerres/ar... We had a fantastic experience with Cancer Research @theaacr.bsky.social reviewers who made the paper so much better, and with @americancancersoc.bsky.social for funding a project that included the D-word (yup, disparities!)
