    This is the best reason to put forward Ossoff, to my mind. He can weave that corruption-and-accountability narrative and he has the right kind of pugilistic instincts. That he’s from the South when the South delivered so much of this victory is that much more important. (Also, he’s young).

    Here’s a video that made me tear up this week (old, but still amazing). Before she retired, my mom was a social worker at a children’s treatment centre, and helped run a diabetes clinic once a week. She’s incredibly passionate about the price of insulin, how pharma companies gouge diabetics, etc.

    Not to brag, but two random babies in strollers waved at me today. Then, a child that I would guess was around 4 years old told me that his mother had sweaty hands. You know, just conversationally as we were passing each other on the sidewalk. He was holding his mother’s (sweaty) hand at the time.
