This photographer makes the literally incredible claim that Collins is "among the most engaging public figures, ... often mingling with the public & media." I'm not surprised in the least that the photojournalist spent THIRTY years "trying" to get Collins to "open a door and let [her] in."

yes! this is the Mamdani Lesson. for the general public, it matters a great deal that you are Doing Something. the priority for the next congress should be to move fast on the lowest hanging fruit. (i think this will require filibuster reform at the very least)

david shor is basically advancing a set of ideological claims under the guise of empirical analysis, which is why there is no set of facts that will get him to rethink his views.
