My boss is a big supporter of voting and basically election day (and primaries as well!) are an unofficial low-work day. Large meetings are cancelled, folks can take whatever time they need, and helping out at the polls/GOTV/volunteering is encouraged.

I’m teaching a college class this semester and told my students that if they need the class time to go vote or help someone vote, they should take it, no questions asked. Some of them work multiple jobs, or care give for family; their lives don’t fit into election schedules

And a lot of times, the people they are at war with are working two jobs just to make ends meet and then driving DoorDash after that to make their insurance payment. So yeah, a lot of people haven't thought about voting yet.

Sometimes it's just as simple as "hey, what if you take your lunch break early? I can drive you over at 11." But yes. Help people make a plan to vote. In some parts of this country, they are at war against your right to vote, and we BETTER have a strategy.
