Ver postthere's a wonderful account of how the palace initially raised concerns about Rod Hull and Emu being in a line up once, in front of Princess Anne. Allegedly, Anne dismissed it. Saying: "if the bird goes for me, it'll be amusing to see who wins." Line up went ahead. Rod Hull was epitome of grace.
