Ver post🧵 To me, PMD has been the most important and influential franchise in my life. I got introduced to it in a difficult phase in my life, and it provided a source of escapism. I've been creating fan content for years, but I didn't start engaging in the actual fandom until I started Meteorveil.
Ver post🧵 The reason I began creating Meteorveil was because I felt stuck as an artist. I had frequent art blocks, and I felt like I wasn't going anywhere. I wasn't satisfied with just doing commissions and character art anymore. I wanted to finally tell stories with the characters I've created.
Ver post🧵 A PMD comic felt like the most natural starting point. A comic based on my the most cherished franchise. After starting Meteorveil, I've properly began interacting with the fandom, and discovered so many other wonderful artists and fan projects.
