Somewhere in NoCo but from a few places - I root for none of these teams tho. Lots of opinions on music and fiction. Workin' on some original works.

He was maybe in his 60s. I say wait a sec! I have my half sandwich with chips in this bag & I'll never eat it. I ask him if he wants it & he's grateful for it & blesses me. So y'all, this is how we must be now. We do it online, we do in life. We give what we don't need. @blackanarchist.blacksky.app

So I didn't get out for my walk today, but yesterday had a lovely promenade through my hood to drop off my ballot in the box & I stopped in Sankofa books to pick up an African novel & a sandwich & smoothie. I pass a homeless dude who asks me if I have money for a sandwich, I say I have no money.

Mach tuck is a well documented aeronautical phenomenon going back to WW2. It has claimed many lives. If that turns out to be the case (we may never know), then it's possible that a qualified pilot in a well-maintained aircraft would have ended up in the same situation.

If you're unable to relieve the aerodynamic pressure on that horizontal stabilizer, it's entirely possible for the sheer force of the air to break it off the aircraft entirely. What we also know from dashcam video is that the horizontal stabilizer seems to be missing.

What's brutal about this is that recovering from Mach tuck is completely counterintuitive. When your airplane starts to dive, the instinct is to pull up. However, at those speeds, the forces on the horizontal stabilizer and its control surfaces are so strong that you literally can't.
