    I’m not criticizing your post. I’m lamenting the sad truth that for most people, the threat of COVID and related awareness ended around 2021, when vaccines became available. So they’re disinterested in calling for initiatives like clean indoor air.

    I welcome civil disagreement. I don’t think I’ve heard a politician say the word “COVID” in years. It’s a very unpopular topic, which is a big part of why it got memory-holed. I’d love to hear a candidate or elected leader talk about why we need clean indoor air.

    Went to the grocery store today. Asked a worker where -tortilla wraps- were. She asked if my mask kept me healthier. I said yeah, haven't had COVID, etc. She said it wasn't going around anymore. I said I know someone who just had it. She was like "Oh." Then showed me where the -corn chips- were. 💀

    It’s exhausting constantly battling so much indifference & lack of awareness. I’m about to call my dentist to ask if the hygienist could wear an N95. We’re in a COVID wave now! How can they not know this? Why do I have to ask?

    If they hadn’t been fooled into thinking COVID is over, they likely also would’ve voted for clean indoor air, Long Covid treatments, improved vaccines, and honest public health messaging about it.
