This framing isn't good, Chris. Nobody needs to lie to me to know that a 9-0 decision on the Title IX question helps the goal of the elimination of a population. I appreciate the work you put in to cover the Court, but I think we can reasonably disagree on what needed to be done, here.
Ver postAlito and Thomas wouldn't have joined on a decision they fundamentally disagreed with, even if they invent new law or terrible historical readings to do so. Upholding the integrity of an institution without remaining integrity by agreeing to do some genocide on a technicality misreads the moment.

While she could not have changed the outcome, she does not appear to respect the gravity of this conservative project.
Ver postThis Court is an openly political body, and by attempting to maintain that fiction, she's lending it additional credibility in its decisions to bring material harm to trans people trying to live their lives. To kids who want to hang out with their friends, denied the opportunity, unanimously.
