Trans men are fully oppressed subjects of male supremacy. They’re among the least powerful, most abused, most endangered people in society. Them being legitimately men doesn’t change this.

What this philosophy of oppression does is use questions of oppressed identity to mask the continual renegotiation of care hierarchies. We’re all so used to organizing care through hierarchy it’s like we avoid considering whether any more flexible care systems are possible.

To conclude they deserve no specific care in this hierarchy of anti-oppression action, we’d have to conclude they have no particular needs or that they’ll just passively benefit from other people’s needs being focused on. Which IME is almost never how oppression actually works.
