  Sorry, maybe I shouldn't say this but ahahah. I am very angry. So I went to Xbox's Fan Fest event to attend a preview event. And it was the most flagrant display of wealth imaginable. Five stories filled with caterers and hundreds of smiling faces there to assure me of the brand's strength.

  It also makes games harder to pirate. And it keeps the Sony brand more prominent and public-facing. Can't blame them for doing this. Curious to see if new leadership at Xbox also decides to lean more in this direction.

  This is precisely the part of the argument most people miss when they dismiss exclusives. Any short term revenue you gain from porting to other platforms is lost in the long run by damaging your console platform and the fees collected there. This is what Xbox is giving up.
