Ver postDecided to forgo the melee of FT4 on RS-44 and pop back on to SSB. A successful few passes, a few new stations and WA2NDV-Long Island- confirmed LOTW as a new grid. Popped on to FO-29 as it was just rising and then picked up RC1BU-St Petersburg, also as a new confirmed LOTW grid. Which was nice!
Ver postI grabbed a couple of hours of clear sky this evening to capture IC 1396, a large emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus about 2,400 light years away from Earth. The Elephant's Trunk Nebula is over 20 lightyears long and can be found running through IC 1396
