    In the ongoing "customer service" entertainment provided by HP, the printer I purchased on October 14th has only 7 months out of 12 remaining on the warranty, the rest having expired while it sat in Staples' warehouse. Three HP cases have been opened and closed when HP declared that it is fixed.

    2/ It is not fixed. So, I have twice chatted with HP, asked for a live representative, been connected, then disconnected by HP. I decided to call "customer service" on their Canadian 1-800 line. Held for 28 minutes, was asked for patience, then the line went dead.

    3/ HP asserts that the serial number of my new printer doesn't exist. I have a photo of it to prove otherwise. On and on it goes. HP pesters me with an on-line survey, but can't actually provide a customer service. Absolutely ridiculous. I regret not purchasing a Brother printer.
