  I think the most annoying symptom of web-side enshittification for me is how many websites load in a series of buttons, wait for half a second, and then add a series of ads above the buttons which pushes them down just far enough that I'm tricked into clicking on the ad instead of the button I want.

  i think about this with writing a lot too. the secret tho is that you can't write from fictional reference or from reworking existing language you've heard. you just gotta go look at something and try to talk about it
