But who are we kidding, the NFL (and US sports) have been doing this forever. Just look at concussions which I still don't think are taken seriously. If they were, you'd change the way people tackle - not just the treatment - to stop them in the first place.

Not just the game... they put him on a fucking plane. For 8hrs. Story of a team last year, on the tarmac, a medical report came through as they taxied and they returned to gate to get the lineman off to not risk him further. The Eagles? Nah, let's fly him to London!
