A few birds arriving in off the sea at Newton Pool this morning, mainly thrushes but a few finches and Skylarks too. Best of the bunch was a nice Mealy Redpoll, later trapped and ringed. Also lurking was a Cetti's Warbler, seen 4 here now, all in late Oct/Nov. #NEbirding #BirdRinging

Hard to know, although late Arctics are definitely more regular these days. Late terns here generally tend to be Arctic or sometimes Sandwich. Late Commons are unusual.

Never tire of finding these sprites, geographically it makes perfect sense, being the third Pallas’ Warbler I’ve found at King George Park in three years! Other standouts included a high count of 11 Firecrests ebird.org/checklist/S4... #kentbirding #PWC2026
