    More cynically, a part of me can’t help but wonder: the current system is that if you follow all the arcane and draconian rules, pay the irrationally high fees, and meet all the arbitrary criteria, then you usually do get approved for settlement. Are they gonna start flipping a coin?

    Hey Sean, I’m an Oxfordshire resident and British citizen. Do you want to meet and I can show you all of the paperwork and finances my five year settlement took? Since you seem to think it was ‘almost automatic’, and not a years’ salary for many of your constituents.
