  Year three of being “the book house” in our neighborhood. Gave away 200 books, a bunch of chapter books, middle grade, and YA for the teens that came through. Makes me happier than I can say. ❤️ I also give out candy too, relax.

  Most writers give up on querying far too soon. Books are taking longer than ever right now in the query trenches and on submission. It's overwhelm, not "Well, I've been staring at this one daily deciding how to reject." Three months is not a bad sign. Six months is not the end. Keep going.
