    12/ If Trump were smart enough to know what a tautology is—he's not—he'd notice that Miller's view of presidential power is a tautology: the president decides what qualifies as "national security," and once he has made that decision, he has... any power he likes. Which means *the president is God*.

Trump made this decision knowing that Miller is the non-lawyer progenitor of a "legal" theory Trump has been fascinated by from the jump: that in matters of "national security," the president is a king... ...and that *almost anything* can be called "national security."
