Three notes: 1) The police board once again failed to meet the legal requirement to post its agenda a week in advance. 2) The board has stopped posting its in camera agendas. You couldn’t usually glean much, but it was something. 3) When VicPD updated its website, it erased all agendas before 2025.

The reason you won't hear local government leaders criticize this deal is because it means they don't have to decide between raising taxes, or putting more strain on the development/construction industry. nice for them!

Originally they were going to increase taxes on residents, then they shifted heavily to using DCCs, then developers cried foul, and then mayors were trying to figure out an imaginary third option where nobody would yell at them but the new wastewater treatment plants would still get built
