  It's really hard for some people to face the fact that it is difficult as hell to get published PERIOD, and that if these spaces for women and LGBTQ+ exist it's because it is even HARDER for those groups to find traction.

  Also I think one reason there are so many women in publishing these days is because not only are women the majority of readers but they’re also more likely to major in the Humanities and English Lit

  Men need to read romance novels written by women. Especially young men. They keep asking each other for advice on what women are looking for when there are literally thousands of pages on the subject written by women themselves.
