That’s the most obvious one, yes. They’re also largely missing how many people said corruption was their number one issue. It was a staggering number if you think about it. I honestly didn’t think that many people were paying attention. Glad to be wrong.

Also, I look at it like this: Jeffries job is to get things done on behalf of the American people. That’s going to include working with the administration where he can on affordability. His job is also to put people who will be aggressive about accountability in chair positions, and he will.

And we have to start planning for 2028. Enjoy our victory - we earned it. But we still have a country to save, and the first step to doing that is to repeat this performance in 2028. We undid 20 years of GOP gains in state and local government this election. Now we build on it.

Thank goodness indeed. We needed a win after these last two years. Anyone else feel like they can breathe again? if not, you should start to. The amount of fuckery we just undid in a single election is incredible. Still work to do, but we’re going to be OK.
