I was raised in the Catholic church. Mom always found it problematic but she gave a huge amount of grace when it came to where her values and the Church did not align. She loved the communal aspect. She found great comfort in her religion throughout her cancer battle

Post anzeigenTheres something so nice too about the communal signing in church that I miss. No real pressure to be perfect, the act of joining in is the important part. Seeing people regularly like that too. I cant stand religion anymore but I rather miss the community element built into it.
