I’ve now experienced AI fucking up TWO medical things for me in the past month. 1. Sent me the wrong summary of a bad blood test result via patient portal that scared the shit out of me 2. An AI agent (who I did not know was an AI agent) called me today to schedule a test my doctor did not order

Called place where I’m getting ultrasound today: “Uh..I just got a call from one of your employees saying I need a different test and she had my address and insurance provider wrong and didn’t know if any of this is covered?” Receptionist: “oh yeah that’s our AI agent Vivian. She gets confused!”
