It's super helpful for the Three Stooges of Pre Hala (noibat, rufflet, and bagon) Also as a general thing, don't forget to keep the meowths from evolving. Its annoying to keep pressing B every level, but they loose pickup on evolving :(

Rare kitchens in festival plaza can help reduce some grinding early game you're willing to use festival plaza (4 star rare kitchens are great for pre hala but they rare)
