Some rightwing commentators are upset by anti-ICE & pro-refugee & pro-LGBTQ messaging at churches that are serving as polling sites. All 3 of these churches are mainline Protestant ones. The commentators are showing how little they understand about diversity of Christian beliefs.

CREC was cofounded by Christian nationalist Doug Wilson, who once told me that in his ideal Christian America, liberal Christians — and he singled out liberal Methodists — couldn't hold office.
