Post anzeigenI've gotten so many types of coins over the years - gold, silver, copper, bronze, with writing and numbers in dozens of alphabets. I have no use for them. I prefer the muffins left by the baker. The coins have piled up - there's no room for treats! I might put up a sign. "Food only, no coins."
Post anzeigenIt is a stone. Any passerby would call it a pretty stone. A simple small, round, grey body, with flecks of another substance spattered around the surface. The learned would recognize it as a fossil. But I alone know it's true essence. An egg. Fallen from the sky an eon ago, from my point of origin.
Post anzeigenI like the small gifts: the pebble smoothed further by pockets, the acorn hat, the piece of string broken from a once-loved doll. The things that have no apparent value save the sentimental, precious for the memories they invoke. Precious enough to share to those who have so little as-is.
