Some people talk as if recent Green Party members some how aren't valid. I joined the Green Party just after the 2024 general election. Perhaps I'm an entrist, hard left, far left, a trot, a Corbynista etc. I see myself as a socialist who's been worried about the environment since the late 80s.

We have to remember that the equivalent of Abdul El-Sayed and Zohran Mamdani in the UK is the *Green Party*. Left, grassroots anti-bigotry, anti-genocide politics that centres ordinary people’s needs is growing despite attempts by wealthy oligarchs and their lackeys in the Labour Party to stop it.
