Note the timing! NYT could have raised this months ago, but they waited until the Sunday before midterms so that it couldn't be put before voters. There won't be weeks of CNN or MSNOW stories that shape polling and then turnout. But they can now say they covered it before the election!

It bears repeating that design and popular uses of AI contribute to a culture that rejects consent and the bodily autonomy of women. It is not just the theft of creative labor here (which is bad enough) but its attachment to a pornified body then sold to male social media users

Further proof we just live in the nonsense world. Ranked choice voting solves the problem the NYT and Republicans are professing to care SO MUCH about, but because they also have prior opposition to ranked choice voting they're pretending the opposite, incoherently and clownishly

Also not to belabor the point but AI protest flyers is very popular with rightwing extremists who do not care about whatever issue they’re organizing around. It’s just a cynical exploit in furtherance of their hate. That’s what your flyer looks like, in addition to being unreadable.
