Took kiddo to a 50s diner for an old fashioned milkshake after school. Figured it would be a good reward for a challenging but good day with her walker. We get in, and she LOVES it. “I’ve always wanted to go to a super old place! I just love the 90s. It’s so nostalgic.” 🤦‍♀️😭

...and clinging with all my might to the handful of good things they did but I cannot relate to some of these complaints at all. Then there's the people who become so put off by the tiniest nitpicks that their whole world becomes about it and like MAN you really do not know how good you have it...

It's still so wild to me how nitpicky AEW fans have the luxury of being sometimes. I dunno if it's just from living through years of desperately praying the weekly wrestling show would please, for the love of gods, do SOMETHING interesting or push SOMEONE with talent...

The underlying belief is that trans people are lying about who we are, so we'll stop doing it if we're punished enough. When they punish us and we don't stop being trans they think "more punishment, more punishment." The longer it goes on the more it strips their humanity.
