I think 3H is a flawed yet very memorable game (also marked the return of Koei writing fantasy RPG 20 years after PS1 cult classic Zill Oll) while FW, although not without its strengths, unfortunately exacerbated many issues with 3H while not having the same effectiveness as a character-focus story.
Post anzeigenSince 3H used the same Katana Engine that powered other KT games from the 2010s and FW copied the style despite using different tech, I think it's just a matter of preference with director Toshiyuki Kushakihara whom directed both games.
Post anzeigenIf you thought IntSys just followed the direction they laid out alongside Koei during 3H & it's not your preference, that's still fully on IntSys's decision. Going as far to say "Koei took over FE" when they were only asked to do 3H since IntSys hadn't even done a HD game then was a bit too much :)
