All of this is to say: I think the fever of transphobia has broken. The country is still sick with the disease of transphobia, but the worst is over, and now recovery can begin. Now we must shift gears from "prepare for the worst" to "work at healing the damage". Now, we can move forwards again.

Post anzeigenYes, the worst of the transphobic Dems got elected. But essentially ALL the Dems won, so nobody's going to draw a conclusion of "to win blue, you have to go transphobic". Actually, the lesson here is "going OOGA BOOGA, SCARY TRANSES doesn't elect people". Because that was all the Republicans had!
