The way some people act about the AO3 outage can be so weird. Going out of their way to compile fics into Google drives to massively share without the author's permission, and collecting them for this constant need for consumption. But when it comes giving comments, suddenly they're nowhere lol.

Idk whenever AO3 goes down it's always this big tragedy for some people and it's like, do you actually care that much even though you don't engage with some fics? It just feels so performative that I just can't take it seriously most of the time.

If you're trying to actually archive things, then you would at least try to preserve the original intention and presentation of the fics you claim to love? But no just run it through AI slop so people can just see their fave characters banging because that's all they care about 😑
