  Great framing. Sensemaking is where AI's speed does the most damage, because the pause is where a team checks its assumptions. Leaders who build that check into the process keep it when the clock speeds up.

  Strong point, and the structural framing matters. The fix can be structural too: decide in advance which measures always get reported, good or bad, so what reaches the dashboard doesn't depend on what feels safe that week.

  I feel you on this. you nailed it. Exhaustion is cognitive load. And willpower doesn't fix it. What does: guardrails set when sharp, defaults protecting when tired, permission to pause. Architecture > motivation always.

  Nice. Measurement becomes performative fast. Goodhart's Law in practice -- when the measure becomes the target, it ceases to be a good measure. The real question is whether your metrics capture lagging outcomes or leading behaviors that drive them.

  I so appreciate to find other voices looking to bridge the conversation. We surely won't end up with positive outcomes unless a lot of good people join the convo with open ears. Ethics can absolutely, and I would argue, should always be a part of the design process. I hope we inch there quickly.
