It's looking like the North Carolina Dems will have a *supermajority* in the State House 🤯 It currently has an R supermajority I have never seen political whiplash like this at any time, ever, in my 45 years on God's Earth

The state elections are huge and so much bigger than federal. Federal elections were great but that’s harm reduction. Fixing NC, Georgia, Kansas and Texas is insanely huge both for a hundred million people and for democracy.

Not only did Democrats pick-up many governorships, but none of the new Democratic governors will have to contend with a vetoproof GOP supermajority. That's really important. The GOP lost or failed to regain its supermajorities in Kansas, Iowa, North Carolina, & Ohio. A game-changer in all.
