Excluding the non-vegan's to whom this doesn't apply, if ya'll call having basic fucking compassion for non-human animals to not participate in their exploitation "white people shit" ONE MORE TIME, I'm gonna fucking lose it.
Post anzeigenPutting aside the obvious evil implication that compassion is exclusively white, if ya'll have done even a scrap of research, you'd know that most cultures around the world has their own version/understanding of veganism, many predating ours by centuries.
Post anzeigenNOT TO FUCKING MENTION that Black people make up the bulk of vegans in the United States, followed by Hispanic and Asian people. I ought to post Angela Davis's thoughts on the subject, cause she's based as hell about this.
Post anzeigenI fully understand that veganism is a really big commitment when you've been raised on meat and dairy. Been there and I get it. It's a huge shift and feels like a drop in the bucket against a systemic level issue. But it we should do it anyway to be consistent in our ethics.
Post anzeigenI'm sick and tired of the dishonesty and the defensiveness when veganism comes up. The quickness in which a leftest who makes all this noise about deconstructing away from misogyny and racism, only to start talking like a republican just to justify eating meat is seriously nuts.
