Henna was found alone in Grevena, northern Greece, weighing just 11 kg. She should weigh 20–24 kg. She also has leishmaniasis and heartworm. Local volunteers are caring for her, while GAR covers her medication. Finding a dog is sometimes the easiest part of rescuing one. ❤️🐾
Post anzeigenErmioni in Karditsa, central Greece, has a serious problem. She can't say NO to another rescue dog! 😂🐕 And every new arrival needs parasite protection. When the bills became too much, GAR supporters stepped in with treatments. ❤️ Because preventing suffering is just as important as rescuing dogs.
Post anzeigen🇩🇰 Great news: Denmark’s remaining seven mink farms must close by August 2027. Another step towards a #FurFreeEurope! The @ec.europa.eu must now deliver an EU-wide ban on fur farming. How much longer must animals wait? ⤵️ bit.ly/3UIADbp
Post anzeigenAren't these gorgeous? 😻 And they're all neutered! Six years ago, cats and kittens gathered around the rubbish bins in Vagia on Aegina, Greece. Today, thanks to dedicated local volunteers and neutering funded by Greek Animal Rescue, things are very different. Lovely cats, and a lovely result! 🐈💙
Post anzeigenEveryone loves a dramatic rescue. But who remembers the animal two years later? Snow was thrown off a bridge in Serres as a puppy. Both hips were dislocated. His second operation kept being delayed by other emergencies. Now GAR supporters are paying for it. ❤️ Rescue doesn't end with the rescue.
