Not for one moment am I questioning Cameron’s dreadfulness, but I often see that as an example of ‘funniest night on Twitter’, and it’s a) nicked from Black Mirror and b) a lie concocted by Ashcroft and Oakeshott, two of the worst people alive.

It's why that David Cameron/pig story was so was believeable. It didn't take much imagination to think that, yes, the posh kids did fare each other to do crazy shit so they'd have blackmail material for later in life when they inevitabley end up in positions of power. We just assumed it to be true.

The anti-BBC brigade love to use Savile as an excuse to beat the BBC, but he was protected and endulged by far greater powers than that. The BBC didn't give him a knighthood. The BBC didn't gives him the keys to Broadmoor.

This isn't a BBC problem. Or a media problem. It's a society problem. I'm sure every woman I know has had unwelcome advances or worse from a male colleague. Or warned not be alone with someone at a function. This stuff is almost always known to someone
