Also, a little late reminder this standee of dia de muertos is selling till the end of November #HelluvaBoss #Stolitz #Stolas #Blitzø gilau.acggoods.com/product/doub...
Post anzeigenI agree that the dances tell us a lot (& frankly my brain isn't up to the task of detailing it all), but my personal read on the Stolago dance was that it highlighted the ways in which their relationship *isn't* actually romantic or easy. (This is NOT a Vassago hate 🧵 btw I actually like him)
Post anzeigenA bit of a tangent about the song itself: Vassago wants Stolas to believe things could be easy but Stolas can *see* that they aren’t. & Vassago gives Stolas the telescope in the same way he gives Stolas the diary – he’s confident he knows what’s there without having to actually look for himself.
Post anzeigenLook at how Vassago starts their dance. Stolas wasn’t following Vassago’s lead so much as he was being swept up & away - and he's handled nearly every step of the way. Vassago “pulls” Stolas with an invisible *rope* which is fun and playful on the surface, but it exemplifies their entire dynamic.
