Social liberalism has never been a strong point with Labour. It was David Cameron who said he was in favour of same-sex marriage, not despite being Conservative but *because* he was Conservative. You'd never have got the equivalent from Blair.
Post anzeigenCalled it well before the general election - many of us did but it was mostly transes. Labour's promise to the nation was to be as horrible as the Tories but be more effective. They're not even breaking their word, just the expectations of the wishful thinking crowd.

Bigots who rushed to ban trans kids from their medication, segregate trans people in schools and hospitals and sports and clubs and public facilities. Bigots who listen to bigots regardless of the evidence.
