Post anzeigenNot building streets like this is a *choice* & it's not even that hard to fix them. If you wander through parts of Portland or Tacoma you'll see what can be done.
Post anzeigenThe scale piece is what I try to explain to people who've never lived in, for example, the Netherlands. Too many cities just have giant pavements, giant roads, giant buildings set too far apart & away from traffic. This creates an oppressive level of distance and makes everything feel less safe imo.
