I was having a nosey / trespass inside the Hillbark grounds last Wednesday, and they very kindly invited me inside for a look around. It's very grand, imposing and luxorious, if somewhat outside my price range! 👀 That's how I was able to get a photo of the great hall for the Saturday quiz 👍

Misty walk this morning. It cleared for a short time, meaning lovely skies before it came down again! Birding highlights: Ravens, large flocks of Redwings and Fieldfares, Siskins, Reed Bunting, Cetti's, Kingfishers, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, calling Tawny Owls, Pink-footed Geese etc!

Heard both Ravens today but only Gravy has been down for a short time so far. I wonder what makes them decide when and how long they want to visit for? Also Gravy came closest ever today. And to prove that the yellow wellies are attached to me 😅😅
