I got free life coaching through my insurance and honestly those 25min 2x per month were more helpful than years and years with a talk therapist! which made me think that it rly just comes down to the person. Shout out to that life coach tho lol she’s a real one, taught me a lot!
Post anzeigenThe number of failed therapeutic connections (not every therapist and client will be a good fit!) plus the number of times the therapeutic upshot was juice that was barely worth the squeeze makes it inductively inevitable to conclude it’s likely a waste of time. And yet I still do it!
Post anzeigenTherapy is good (and it’s good I’m setting up a new medical care network here since I moved across the country) but it is literally a matter of faith for me to believe that the hours of painstakingly explaining myself, and hours correcting miscommunication, will eventuate in anything worthwhile
