Tolkien's House, Zagreb 🇭🇷 1st visit. Finally made it here after so many years. Yes. It rules. Best pub I've been to in Zagreb so far. Nova Runda dominates the taps but there's a Zwickl for €4. Wonderfully social with a range of ages. Dog friendly. LOTR-heaven of course, like Lorien in Palma 👍🍻

Post anzeigenI have at least two books I’d love to publish, and I have wondered about a series. (Disclosing self-interest here.) The economics could work out, too. Most of the money could go straight to authors. Selling a thousand or even a few hundred copies a year is real money for a writer.
Post anzeigenOn the collective idea, I’ve long thought about this. (I do think you’re describing a magazine, if one with an unusual ownership structure.) The big problem is see is on the demand side. Interest in beer is just not great right now.
Post anzeigen2. That person is responsible for pulling together everyone's contributions and distributing subscription fees. 3. Everyone submits their 'column', rather than having their own individual newsletter; what goes out on Substack/Ghost/ButtonDown/wherever contains the lot.
