I don’t think this is really a “Twitter artist” thing because so many art spaces have this problem. A lot of artists are extremely unsupportive of their peers. They have a crabs in a bucket mentality. No artists can be more skilled or more successful than them, it’s just not allowed.

The whole discourse about commission prices and accusing professional artists of using AI does kind of reaffirm my theory that a lot of online artists suffer from insecurity and jealousy and making it everyone’s problem

webcomics arent real you can do anything you want. you can have an update schedule of 3x a week or once a year or no update schedule at all. you can take. a year or 2 off to recover from drawing your comic or draw something else to get your spark back. you probably arent getting paid so do whatever.
