It's gratifying to see even in 2026 it's still impossible to mention D&D 4th Edition in any substantive way without a bunch of shitheads who've never played or even read it immediately attempting to relitigate a decades-old edition war based on half-remembered stuff they've heard other people say.

It genuinely annoys me that "Rub-a-dub-dub" is like the ONE popular nursery rhyme where the whole "yeah, that's the censored version – the original was actually sexually explicit" thing that gets claimed about every nursery rhyme is actually well supported by the historical record. (1/2)

Regardless of which cinematic interpretation of Doc Ock one favours – the Raimi trilogy’s or Into the Spider-Verse‘s – we basically agree that we want a fiftysomething nerd with alarming personal grooming standards and zero body shame to throw a car at us, right?

Nobody knows what a vampire is anymore, which you'd think would make things easy for you, except you're having to work a LOT of stuff out from first principles yourself, like how vampire blood sorcery works on people who don't have blood. (It's not always easy to tell which ones those are!)
