[CN: conversion practices, child abuse, transphobia] Honestly, I'm not exactly a fan of criminalising things as a rule. I'm not a big advocate for carcereal solutions to most things. But if criminalising conversion practices means social services have to protect kids like Liam, I'll take it.

[CN: conversion practices, child abuse, transphobia] When a safeguarding referral was made in relation to this it wasn't acted on because of "parental choice" in relation to trans kids. The idea that parents get to dictate this stuff about CYP allows blatantly abusive behaviour to be excused.
