Walked down the pedestrianised bit of Oxford St yesterday and it was brilliant. So much space. I was not dodging rule breaking cyclists, there were so many pedestrians I think the cyclists will want to avoid it. I think this is a great thing for Oxford St.

Cool thing about a home battery is it actively arbitrages the electricity market while you get on with your day You can see here the battery charging at the cheapest, greenest times of the day, then selling back to the grid for profit when there’s a shortage event Net power bill that day <£0

Never heard of this- and at first it seems tempting- but it *is* pretty killjoy. Round here (and the last 2 small towny places I've lived) you just signal you're trick or treater-friendly by putting a pumpkin or decorations out. And if you don't, people assume you're a warlock etc and don't knock

Pedestrianised Oxford Street is so, so good. Don't understand how this wasn't done years ago/there's no way it'll ever be reversed now it's actually happened.
